i am experimenting with vim. i installed a bunch of VIM plugins and customized the terminal. everything is purely aesthetic but this makes programming so much better.
totally skipped all of my assignments but i'm using today as an opportunity to learn something i care about. my midterms can wait.
this is my first blog post. in the spirit of being a programmer, i've been working on revamping my old portfollio website to have a lot more personality. i'm tired of the old modern layouts. there's a certain beauty to the old aesthetic. i was inspired by a plethera of sites on neocities. maybe i'll add my site there too? the way i see it, it's like a form of rebellion against big tech and artificial intelligence. and i think that's really cool, especially with how things are right now.
did i mention it was 3am? lmao. i have my last ever midterm coming up next week. it's my final year at CAL and i'm networking, keeping up with classes, working, and going on sidequests all at the same time.
this is all definitely to the detriment of my mental health and sleep. i'll have way more time once i graduate. i'm not too optimistic about my job prospects, but the least i can do is use my degree to build stuff i can be proud about.
i also worked on a couple of spotify playlists since i was inspired.

i hope to continue working on this website. however i always work on this at an abysmal time. daylight saving time messed me up fr.
